Note 09
Splash, shake, inhale
A short breath. Then go to work.
The first time you open the bottle, add half a capful of water — a splash, not a drink. Close the cap. Shake it. You only do this once. The ammonia comes up off the blend once the water hits.
When you want the hit, crack the cap and hold the neck a few inches off your nose. Inhale gently. You are not trying to pull the bottle into your lungs. A short breath is the whole technique. Cap it immediately. The cap is the product as much as the powder. A bottle that leaks in a bag gets used exactly once and then hated.
Use it when you need the next rep, the next shift, the next walk-out. Do not sit with it under your nose between sets for fun. Ammonia irritates the nose, the eyes, and the lungs when you linger. That irritation is the mechanism. It is also the limit. If it bothers you, stop.
Keep it away from kids. This is for adult athletes.
Then go do the thing you opened it for. The bottle cannot skate the shift.
