Bardown started with a simple brief: a bottle we would actually keep in the bag. Clean ingredients. Made in the United States. Strong enough for a warmup, and quiet until we asked it to be.

The days were stacked. Class, then work, then the gym, then the ice, then lacrosse. The session was the short part. Smelling salts were how we flipped the switch — hockey, lifting, whatever was in front of us that night.

So we made the bottle we wanted. Lab-grade ammonium carbonate and sodium carbonate. Non-activated until you add a splash of water. A cap that stays shut in a backpack. No costume. No mystery blend.
